Without a swimming pool... (heavy sigh)
Sprinkler- thingy
Water Guns
Sidewalk Chalk
And for lunch-- what else? Hot dogs and Kool-Aid!We kept Chase (aka "Powder") in the shade. Even so, every time an errant water stream would come his way, we saw this face:As impressive as this get-up may be, we are still counting the days until we have access to the Slovacek pool ( and the Slovacek Grandparents, of course!)

love it! we are just barely getting warm enough here to even attempt outside swimming! you are lucky...
I should take a picture of "just another Prague day". It would look like me in tights wearing a trench coat in the pouring rain, trying to walk Harry and passing through a construction zone. Maybe I will! I haven't updated my personal blog in a month. Stay tuned. P.S.- Can't wait for the Slovacek pool access either. Does the hot tub work too?
Powder...ha ha!
I love those kids!
It looks so nice and warm there. It's so cold here, I can't even imagine getting in a pool. BRRRRR. But yes, when we get home, the Slovacek pool (and bar and grill) will be open! Get ready!
So cute! Love the nickname Powder!
when Phoebe was born I asked Matt what she looked like and he said, "have you ever seen the movie Powder?". Not the right thing to say to a momma who just had an emergency c section for a baby who is now not crying. He was referring to her lovely thick covering of vernix. She and Chase will make a good pair.
Oh those were the days!! I remember eating hot dogs or mac and cheese just about every day in the summer with the Sheild kids. Oh how I miss Florida! I am so jealous!
