I took the kids to Toddler Time at the public library this week. The topic of the week was HATS. They read "hat" books and sang "hat" songs. This got Zoie thinking....
Within minutes of arriving at home...
We had a Cowboy- 
A Princess-
Mickey Mouse- (This is Ryder-- my best friend's baby that I get to watch a few days a week. Isn't he adorable? We absolutely love having him around!) 
And a chubby Mom with a bunch of clever kids...

Well, I don't think you look chubby but if YOU do, then perhaps you should have worn your big earrings! Duh.

It's called mind-management, Kira. If you say you're skinny--which you are--then you'll reinforce in your mind that you're skinny--which you are. Telling everyone you're chubby only makes the rest of us feel chubbier. Your mantra should be, "I am healthy, skinny, and strong!" (Because you are!) By the way, the kids are cute!
ok, ok... Please forgive me for my shameless self- mockery. I just call them as I see them.
Lesson learned. I will refrain for the utilization of the word, "chubby".
