This morning, I miss George.
Our beloved pug was adopted a few months ago by a kind elderly gentleman. No doubt George is now his loyal, devoted companion. I am sure that in his new home, George gets to do all the fun things that were prohibited here-- sitting on the furniture, licking people's faces, etc. I am sure that he is very happy.
But we miss him. The kids asked me this morning if we would see George in Heaven. I like to think so.

George was a good dog. He's one of the only dogs Lisa wasn't afraid of.
This makes me cry. I love George.
Is this conversation what sparked your performance of "Heaven Isn't Too Far Away" by Warrant? It's all coming together now.
I'm sad too. George was so good with the kids!
So cute........the kids and the dog. If we don't get to see our pets in heaven, there are going to be a lot of sad people, huh?
I miss him, too, Kira. He was my first granddog. I loved his little mischievous ways. If you see him, give him a rub on the neck for me!
AHHHH! We miss George too!
Remember when we found him in the middle of University Parkway in Orem? How the heck did he not get hit? Oh George, we hope we get to see you in heaven too!
